World War II Technical Sergeant rank insignia

During World War II the enlisted rank of Technical Sergeant consisted of three chevrons and two arcs. The Pay Grade for a Technical Sergeant was E-2. The rank of Technical Sergeant was discontinued in 1948, although the insignia itself was used for the new Sergeant First Class rank.
